Yong Hee Kim

Yong-Hee was born in Seoul, South Korea and moved to Vancouver at the age of 19 to study Graphic Design at the Art Institute of Vancouver. After graduation, Yong-Hee built up his own business as a freelance graphic designer, designing thoughtful identities, illustrations and murals for small to mid-sized businesses.

A naturally curious spirit, Yong-Hee finds curiosity to be the greatest teacher in both languages and design tools. No doubt this influence is apparent in Yong-Hee’s multilingualism; Yong-Hee speaks Korean, English and Japanese. When not at work, you can find Yong-Hee enjoying cartoons, movies, music and architecture. Some of his favorites include Max Fleischer, Osamu Tezuka, the Looney Tunes and classic-era Disney films.
